Take the hassle (and the mess!) out of party planning with Melbourne's tie dye party experts! Our tie dye experts will guide the birthday child and their friends through the process of designing and creating their very own wearable art in their chosen designs, while learning about colour theory and colour mixing. Everyone takes home 2-3 items that they made themselves!

WHO: Anyone turning 7  & up (maximum of 15 participants).

WHEN: Friday 4-6pm, Saturday & Sundays, 10am-12pm or 2:30-4:30pm

INCLUSIONS:
  • 1.5 hour tie dye workshop & half an hour for cake & food (not included) = 2 hours total studio time.
  • 2 items per child to tie dye in the workshop. Choose from pillowcases, tote bags, mini backpacks and hand towels - subject to availability.
  • Bring your own t-shirt and dye it for free! (1 per child)
  • Choose either bright colours OR pastels when you book your party.
  • $25 store credit for the birthday child to spend in our retail shop.
  • A personalised PDF tie dye invitation for you to print out & give to the invitees.
  • Compostable plates, cups, sporks & napkins, plus a knife (for cake cutting) to use in the studio.
  • A beautiful tie dyed "Happy Birthday" banner for decorating the studio during your party.
  • During the food portion of the party the birthday King or Queen gets to sit on our spectacular rainbow tie dye throne, drink from our rainbow goblet and wear a tie dye crown!
  • Get your photo featured on our Tie Dye Party Wall Of Fame!


We learn a little about the colour wheel, colour theory & colour mixing, & we learn how to tie & dye lots of different designs. All the dyed items will be securely wrapped in newspaper & plastic bags & the children will take them home with full washing & care instructions for the next day. The ultimate party favour!

HOW MUCH:
  • Up to 10 participants for $400. Additional participants are $35pp, up to a maximum of 15 children (for 8yo+ parties) or 12 participants (for 7yo parties).

  • Rainbow-themed goody bags, including a tie dyed face washer, an assortment of rainbow lollies & lollipop, rainbow ribbon & a thank you note - $7/child
  • Rainbow layer cake from Vintage Vanilla - $99 (normally $120) - or BYO cake​
  • Tie dye t-shirt cookies - $7each (minimum order of 10 cookies)​
  • Leave the washing to us! Washout service - $5 per child
